Memphis will not see the Final Four
Memphis? Really. Rustin you ought to be ashamed. Conference USA is like a Division II pretender. They will fall to Texas if not before. I agree with Jon, the Final Four is a pipe dream for Memphis. This is the Jayhawks’ year
Fellas, fellas… At least Bob has some self-awareness here. Nothing wrong with hoping for the best. I am from NE Kansas after all, so I too am pulling for the Jayhawks. (Actually, K-State first, then KU…but I’m realistic).
I do hope KU can play up to their potential, which would probably be enough – they are quite good. But they seem to go lame on offense from time to time, and if that happens late in the tournament that’s gonna be a killer. They aren’t the only great team – though maybe the deepest. Still, you can only play five at a time according to the current rules.
Hope I’m wrong – not about the rules, but about KU choking late. (Go Wildcats.)

just kidding, but I’m pretty retarded when it comes to basketball. I was pretty moved by an article in Time about CalTech’s bball team… they typically only win 1 game per season. Way to hang in there guys!

My prediction? All 1 seeds in the final four for the first time ever. I know it sounds crazy, but I’m kind of wild like that.

I thought about altering the time stamp of my post and making a similar post-prediction. But self-restraint won.
I actually would not be surprised by any of these four teams getting it done. Is it just me, or do these seem like four really really good teams this year? Pretty fun to watch.
